Dr Christina Harry, Consultant Paediatric Intensivist

Christina originally trained as a doctor in Australia but the warm weather was too much for her so came to Scotland for her speciality training in Paediatrics and Paediatric Intensive Care and stayed put. She has a keen interest patient safety, paediatric trauma and retrieval medicine.  While training in Scotland, Christina worked with both the Paediatric Retrieval Service and the Emergency Medical Retrieval Service. She joined the PICU team as a Consultant in 2014 and she is also the Glasgow Paediatric Intensive Care Liaison Consultant for ScotSTAR, the new multifunction retrieval service for Scotland.

A fan of sports and the great outdoors.  She has recently discovered skiing and aims to get down slopes in a speedy manner that doesn’t result in her requiring emergency medical retrieval herself.
